Product Advantage

The MN-D60C is a PLC-RS485 Data Transmit Unit (DTU)  equipped with a high-performance CORTEX chip. This device enables bidirectional communication between Power Line Communication (PLC) and conventional RS485 signals while directly  transmitting  valid  communication  data.  With   a  built-in  isolated  power converter, it becomes operational simply by connecting to a power line. Additionally, it provides an isolated DC 12V@150mA power output to support small-power sensors or actuators.

Typical Application

The host computer or RS485 master device connects to the Central Control Unit (CCO)  via  an  RS485  interface,  while  multiple  site  devices'  RS485  terminals  are connected in parallel to the CCO through power line connections as illustrated in the diagram below.
